Two days ago I flew with EVA Airlines from Amsterdam to Bangkok. It was an 11 hour flight departing Amsterdam from 9:40pm. There weren’t any delays so around 10pm I was high up in the sky.

Service: ★★★★
The flight attendants were friendly, quick and there for you when you needed them. When I was sleeping they did not wake me up for my next meal but put a sticker on the chair in front of me instead. Now that’s great service! Who doesn’t hate to be woken up in the middle of a nice dream? 🙂
Food: ★★★★
Being not a big fan of airplane food I decided to go safe and I pre ordered a Veggie Raw Meal. And this was exactly what I got: a bunch of raw veggies and fruit. Whereas many people won’t call this a meal, I actually enjoyed it as it didn’t make me feel as full and bloated as I often get on the plane.
Comfort: ★★★
I had plenty of leg space (I’m 5’5 / 1.65m), the seat recline was quite far and the tv screen was a big screen where I sobbed over The Vow. We received a pillow, a blanket and a headset. There were not that many toilets on board, I often had to wait for 10-15 minutes before it was my turn in the little room.
Other: ★★★★
Nothing noteworthy.
Overal rating: ★★★★ – I would definitely recommend flying with EVA Airways.
