I know, many of us frequent-Bali-visitors shiver when hearing the names Seminyak or Kuta. We imagine busy streets filled with traffic and people calling your name at every corner. Well, Seminyak can definitely be all that. But did you know Seminyak can also be the perfect place to relax and unwind in the middle of quiet and calm? That is, if you choose to stay at the beautiful Chandra Villas.

Close enough to be able to walk to the beach, but far away enough from the hustle ‘n bustle of Seminyak, you’ll find Chandra Villas. Nine private villas, cosily tucked away in one of Seminyak’s side streets. We were staying in a jaw-dropping 2-bedroom villa. I quote my travel buddy, whose first words were “I just don’t know what to say. My heart is beating so fast!”
And mine was too. I was simply wow-ed by the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, (big!) private swimming pool, huge living area with dining table, kitchen and corner sofa and all the thoughtful details.

Breakfast! If you’ve been reading my blogs or if you’ve been following me for a while on Instagram you know how much I love breakfast. To me, there’s nothing more disappointing than starting the day with a bad breakfast. Well, Chandra Villas made sure that didn’t happen! The breakfast was plentiful, tasty, colorful and healthy. My favourite was probably the smoothie bowl in a coconut. Or the poached eggs. Or the pancakes. Or maybe the croissoints? Okay, nevermind. I loved it all!
